The business of banking at the Gundagai Post Office.

  • When making a deposit, simply use the barcoded deposit slips or a transaction card with accompanying PIN provided by your bank.
  • When depositing cash, notes should be in flat bundles of 10 or 100. Coins should be bagged with only one type of coin per bag and the total marked on each bag.
  • To ensure you're served swiftly, it's also prudent to do your business banking outside of the Gundagai Post Office's peak service periods - such as lunchtime and mail closing times.
  • For your own convenience, it's best to contact the manager to discuss suitable banking times.
  • If you have any enquires about your bank accounts, please contact your financial institution.
  • It's worth remembering that the Gundagai Post Office also provides a range of everyday money services. These include personal banking, bill payment, Australian Money Orders and American Express Travellers Cheques and Foreign Currency.
